The Cheapest Way to Travel across Europe

There are so many different ways to get from one country to another, there are flights, trains, ferries, cars and coaches, and we’re going to be looking into the cheapest transport methods.

Driving can be cheap, especially if you have your own economical car, and coach prices can often be higher, because you’re not only paying towards the fuel, you’re also paying for the service of being drive.

Depending on the time in which you want to go your travels, you may contemplate flying, and prices really do go up and down. If you’re travelling off-peak there is a good chance you’ll find a good price, but the likelihood is that the ferry will be cheaper.

A basic ferry trip with no cabin or bunker can be really cheap, but not many areas are accessible and a typical trip to Holland can take up to 7 hours, so imagine what it would be like heading to countries further south.

Cheap travel will always depend on the season, but driving your own vehicle with a group of friend who are chipping in for fuel can be one fo the cheapest methods, and it’s probably our proffered method.
